70 HORROR MOVIES YAY!
I thought I would love this movie, because I love Freddie Krueger. But I didn’t. I didn’t like the fact that they changed freddy krueger, to a more, scary Freddie than usual, because I like him when he’s scary, and funny, not just scary. I don’t like how they made his backround a lot more sexually explicit. Why did they have to change him so much! I love the start of this movie. It’s dark, awesome. And when Freddy Kruger does tell jokes, I do like them. I like when he kills the dog and says “I was just patting him”. I don’t think this remake needed to happen at all! Freddy is one of the only things that changed. This movie is so similuar to the original, and it’s not a good thing. I love the original, and this is just a boring version of it. The kills are fine, and the Teenage girl, who is supost to be Tina from the original, looks like she could be a mother. She’s a good actress (I guess) but it’s embarrasing to see her in a school of people that look twice as young as here. When she gets killed, it’s fine, but It’s the exact same kill, that happened in the original, so what’s the damn point! I don’t STRAIGHT UP hate this movie, it’s just, the worst of the series, Before I tell you my ranking, I’ll tell you what other people think. Common Scence Media, gives it a 2 out of 5. On Rotton Tomatoes, The Tomatoemeter gives this movie a 15% out of 100% and The Audience, on Rotton Tamatoes, gives it a 43%
Now my rating. It’s not terrible, and it’s not good. 4 out of 10. Below average, but not as bad as lots of people think!
